Zion Jonathan McKillop was born and died on September 11, 2008, at Spearfish Regional Hospital.

Though his time here was short, he deeply impacted many people in countless ways. His tissues were donated to give new life and new hope to other infants.

Zion is survived by his parents Chris and Amanda McKillop and his brother Nevada, all of Spearfish; his paternal grandparents Don and Sue McKillop of Gillette, his maternal grandparents Mark and Paula Mowry of New Delhi, India; his great grandparents Dan and Carol McKillop of Gillette, Clyde and Mary Goin of Mitchell, Sylvia and the late Paul Sack of Spearfish, and George and Shirley Mowry of Presho. He is also survived by three aunts, five uncles and three cousins.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00PM on Friday, September 19, 2008 at Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapel in Spearfish, with Pastor Jim Roberts officiating.
