Zhongyi Lu, 51, slipped gently from this life into eternity at Rapid City Regional Hospice House early Monday morning, December 14, 2015.

Zhongyi Lu was born October 19, 1964 in Fushun, China to her father, Changui Lu and mother Suzhen Liu.

Zhongyi immigrated to the United States on September 2, 2008 to marry her husband Ken Mernaugh. They were married on November 14, 2008.

Zhongyi loved everyone and everyone loved her. She had many talents but gardening was her favorite. Everyone admired her extraordinary gardening skills. She will be missed by everyone.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ken Mernaugh of Spearfish; son, Jinlong Tian, her parents, two brothers and one sister all of Fushun, China.

Visitation for Zhongyi will be from 1 PM – 3 PM, Saturday, December 19 at Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapel in Spearfish, followed at 3 PM by a graveside service at Rose Hill Cemetery in Spearfish.
