Wendy was born in Sheridan, WY. On Oct. 14, 1969, at  three days old she was brought home to big sister Paula, by Donnie and Shirley Mendenhall. Wendy lived her early life in Osage, WY.   The family then moved into Newcastle, and finally to the family ranch at Bings corner.

Wendy followed her dad Donnie on as many of his oilfield and ranching adventures as she was allowed, going to the barn during calving season was one of her favorites.

Wendy attended school in Newcastle graduating from NHS in 1989.  She then attended beauty school in Rapid City, SD before moving to Casper, WY. Where she met and married Vincent Barba Sr. From this union the world was blessed with daughters, Hyllary and Courtlynn. She was also blessed with a bonus child, son Tommy.

Wendy spent most of her time taking care of everyone around her and adopted more children than she ever had. Wendy was not vast in riches, but she was very rich at heart. As much as she gave to all that knew her, we all know that her true joy in life became her grandchildren, she will be hanging stars for them with pride. She now has her wings and can watch over all those from heaven that she felt she couldn't from earth.

Wendy was proceeded in death by her father, Donnie Mendenhall, Paternal grandparents, Lee and Marion Mendenhall, Maternal grandparents Emar and Anna Huskinson. She is survived by her three children Hyllary, Courtlynn (Nick), son Tommy Barba. Grandchildren LaSandra, Bently, Jayda, Sereck, Olivia, and on the way Theodore, all of Newcastle, WY. Partner William Hill of Hulett, WY.  Mother Shirley Mendenhall (Huskinson), sister Paula Mendenhall, One niece Aishwarya. As well as friends that became family in numbers that cannot be counted. Live like the Angel you are.
