Virginia E. Collins, 66, of Central City, SD passed away on August 1, 2013 in Deadwood.

She was born on July 23, 1947 to Earl and Bernice (Albert) Carlisle in Monmouth, Illinois. She married Henry Collins, Jr on January 11, 1976 and they made their home in Central City. She worked at the Deadwood Super 8 in Deadwood for many years and was loved by all who met her.

She is survived by her two children, Cindy Collins of Lead and Chris Collins of Central City; long time love Donald (Duck) Haltiner; and grandson, Nathaniel Balander. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry in 2000.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at the Lead-Deadwood Memorial Chapel with Pastor Steve Agan officiating. A memorial has been established to benefit the Twin City Animal Shelter.

Arrangements are under the care of the Lead-Deadwood Memorial Chapel in Lead.
