Obituary

Suzette Livingston, 67 of Sundance, was born June 7, 1951 to Fred and Doloris (Krause) Hinz and passed away June 10, 2018.
Suzette was the oldest of four children and was active in numerous activities growing up, 4-H, Brownies, Church and School Organizations.  Suzette graduated from Sheridan High School in 1969.  Following she moved Laramie, WY and attended the University of WY.  She graduated in 1974 and moved to Crook County WY as the Extension Home Economist for the university.

In 1976, she married John A. Moline Jr. and to this union her three precious children were born, John A. Moline IV in 1977, Rachael R. Fross in 1981 and Jenna L. Moline in 1984. They divorced in 1996.
During her children's early years, Suzette was a devoted stay-at-home mom for ten years.  In those years, Suzette found passion in direct sales for Creative Circle until the company went bankrupt.  Following her self-advice, Suzette returned to college.  Suzette drove to and from Rapid City SD and obtained her Masters in Education in the fall of 1990.  It was a difficult time for Suzette to manage the responsibilities of motherhood and to get a masters degree completed, but in true fashion her family never suffered. That same fall, Farm Bureau came knocking at her door.  After much soul searching, Suzette signed her contract as an insurance agent with Mountain West Farm Bureau Insurance and then Western Farm Bureau Life in Denver CO to serve the good citizens of Crook County.  It was with Farm Bureau the Suzette found her true calling and was able to provide to her clients for nearly 27 years.  It was a joy to provide comprehensive planning to her beloved clients.

In August of 2012, Suzette married the love of her life, Perry E. Livingston. The couple celebrated their marriage with family at the house Suzette had built.  It was Perry that Suzette found a reason to slow down and enjoy the fruit of their labor.  The couple enjoyed their time together and traveled the world, spent time with grandchildren and most of all shared a lot of good wine!

During her lifetime Suzette was a 4-H leader, spoke for Christian women's clubs and was involved in starting a club in Crook County upon her return in 1984. She was privileged to continue her education earning 3 designations within her chosen career; LUTCF, CLU and RICP. She believed in lifelong education. She served as treasurer for Ogden Driskill's campaign, county chair for her lifetime friend Mike Enzi and participated actively in the Republican Party both at the county and state levels.  Suzette also participated with her professional organization, NAIFA to champion the professionalism the industry requires.

Suzette believed you had to live your life with no regrets and that people didn't care how much you knew until they knew how much you cared. She built her business on those principles. She felt fortunate to live in Crook County where people were honest and caring. Her accomplishments are not as important as the work she did including serving as liaison for those who needed estate planning and frankly who doesn't?

She practiced her trade by buying the very products she recommended for her clients, including disability, life insurance, annuities and longterm care which served her and those she wanted to protect very well. She leaves a legacy for those she loved as well as those she served.

Her survivors include beloved husband Perry Livingston; son, John A. Moline IV; grandchildren, John A. Moline V, Preston Moline, Ramsey Moline, and Nycole Barker of Sheridan WY; daughters, Rachael R. Fross (Zac) of Cheyenne WY and Jenna Moline of Casper WY; brothers, Gary (Susanne), DeWayne (Cathy) and Mark Hinz, many nieces and nephews. And the awesome friends she chose. Thank you for being her friends.
