Susan Joann (Cheshier) Symonds age 63 of Hulett, Wyoming passed away at home surrounded by her loved ones, on May 8, 2020 after fighting a courageous battle with cancer.

Suzie was born October 24, 1956 in Belle Fourche, South Dakota to Walter and Virginia (Schlosser) Cheshier. She was the youngest of seven children. Suzie grew up and attended school in Hulett Wyoming, graduating in 1975. Suzie worked for Mountain Bell Phone Company and the United States Postal Service. In later years Suzie babysat for many families in Hulett.
In 1985, Suzie married Benjamin Lewis Symonds. They raised four children in Hulett- Troy James, Walter Marvin, Kyle Lewis and Shelly Ilene.

Suzie is survived by sons, Troy, Walter (Betsy), and Kyle and daughter Shelly (Roger); grandchildren, Hailee Rain Cheshier, Tegan James Cheshier, Dixey Rae Rathbun, Rowdy Lee Benjamin Rathbun and Bo Lewis Rathbun; brothers, Glen (Kay) Cheshier, Jerry (Susan) Cheshier, Ron (Sue) Cheshier, Roger (Darlene) Cheshier; sister, Norma Svoboda; extended family Brianna and Emmalyne Gose, Beau Brashears and Jake Essert and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceeded in death by her parents, brother, Bob Cheshier, husband, Ben and father in law, Marvin Symonds.

A memorial fund will be established at the Summit National Bank in Hulett, Wyoming
