Steven "Steve" Richard Rivers, 18 of Spearfish, passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2014.

Steve was born on April 27, 1996 in Casper, WY to Richard and Stacey (Mitchell) Rivers. Steve moved to Spearfish at the age of five and attended school in Spearfish.

Steve was a smart, funny, artistic young man and always had a way of making people laugh. He loved being outdoors, off road four-wheeling with his family and camping. He loved and cared for his family and friends and was adored by many and touched more lives then he knew.

Steve is survived by his parents, Richard and Stacey; sister, Alison; brother, Richy; grandparents, Richard and Leslie Rivers and Sam and Susan Parsons; great-grandma, Patricia Ridenour; uncle, Sam Parsons; aunt, Jean Rivers; great-uncle Terry Kelley and many, many friends.

Memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at the United Methodist Church in Spearfish. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
