Steve Arlo Baker, 46, of Sundance, WY, passed away Thursday, March, 26, 2026, at home surrounded by family.

Born June 3, 1979, in Casper, WY, to Eric F. and Carol A. Baker. He attended primary school in Newell, SD before the family moved to Sundance, where he finished his education. He worked many jobs in the logging industry, ranch work, Neiman Sawmill, and URS Black Thunder Mine.

He was involved with the National Rifle Association and was well versed in Arborology/Dendrology, Political and Biblical History and enjoyed working with his horses.

He is survived by his Father, Eric F. Baker of Sundance, Brothers, Justin (Traci) Baker of Belle Fourche, Ervin (Alisa) Baker of Rapid City. Sisters, Joyce Ferrat of Arizona and Judy Baker of Texas, many nieces, nephews, great nephews, and great nieces.

He was proceeded by his mother, Carol A. Baker, Paternal Grandparents (Emery and Edna Baker) and Maternal Grandparents (Lyle and Berniece Goodroad).

Steve will be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at 12:30PM Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Spearfish City Park.
