Shirley A. Jewell went to the Lord on June 14, 2010 at Spearfish Regional Hospital in Spearfish, South Dakota.

Shirley was born June 27, 1936 in Ereka, California to Lloyd and Arlene (Richards) Foster. In 1940 her and her family moved to Colorado. She had many brothers and sister they are Hearld (Sallie), Glenn (Carol), Dennis (PJ), Vaughn (Connie), Georgia Lee (Gordon), Willina (Ronald), Lela (Gene), Claire-Paddy (Daryl) Francis-Susie.

On June 12, 1954 Shirley married her life long partner Charles E. Jewell. To their marriage they added seven childern to their family: Kimberly (Mark),of Denver, CO, Richard (Christy) and Dennis (Karen) both of OR, Laura Lee (Jim), of Sundance, WY John (Kerry), of Afton, WY, William and Shelley (Leeland), of Denver, CO. They celebrated 40 years together before Charles went to the Lord on November 10, 1994. Then in 1995 Shirley moved to Sundance, Wyoming. Where she enjoyed the company of friends and family. Shirley also enjoyed many things in her life including traveling with her sister Willena. Shirley had many childern over the years that called her Mom. She always had a big heart for everybody including many grandchildern, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She loved us all.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, her parents, and sisters Georgia Lee and Willena.

Shirley wishes were that there be no services, but for her friends and family in Sundance there will be a memorial at a later date. Donations may be made out to Sundance State Bank in Shirley Jewell's name.
