Shirley M. Ashley, Spearfish, died March 2, 2018 following a long illness.
Shirley was born October 14, 1932, to Ernest and Ida Lindgren Ashley of Vale, SD, the second of three children. When Shirley was 8, her parents purchased a variety store in Spearfish and the family moved. They operated Ashley's Ben Franklin Store for many years.
