Sheldon Lowell Mead, 50, Belle Fourche, SD passed away on Sunday October 10 ^th , 2021 as the result of a car accident near Phillip, SD.

Sheldon was born to Sharon and Barry Mead on December 26 ^th , 1970 in Spearfish, SD. He grew up in Spearfish, Sturgis, Rapid City and Black Hawk, SD.

He welcomed his first child with Tonja Roush (Gamroth), Kasha Mead on June 14 ^th , 1993. He married the love of his life, Tina (Lusher), on December 13 ^th , 1996. They had two children, David, born August 21 ^st , 1998 and Samarra, born December 16 ^th , 2006.

He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and biker. He loved the Sturgis Motorcycle rally and working at Moon's shop and driving a Jonez bus. He helped out on several ranches. He was an amazing dad, doting grandpa and loyal friend. He was a generous and kind man who touched the lives of so many.

He is survived by his wife Tina Mead of Belle Fourche; children Kasha (Ronin and Matilda) Mead of Summerset, SD, David (Nora) Mead of Belle Fourche, and Samarra Mead of Belle Fourche; mom Sharon Rose of Belle Fourche; dad Barry (Doris) Mead of Palm Coast, FL; brother Vairann (Susie) Williamson of Tucson, AZ; step-brothers Derik Mead of Port Saint Lucie, FL, Andrew and Donovan Santos of Palm Coast, FL; grandfather Donald Mead of Milbank, SD; father-in-law John (Gail) Lusher of Pelion, SC, sisters-in-law Malinda (Charlie) Callahan of Rapid Valley, SD, April (Paul) Zegoures of Lake Forest, CA, and Marti Wyse of Pelion, SC; brother-in-law JC Lusher;  many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and countless adopted children and family.

He was preceded in death by his uncle David Rose; grandparents, Lowell (Pete) Rose, Leona Rose and Eileen Mead; mother-in-law June Lusher and many close long-term friends.

Visitation will take place from 10-12 on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapel in Spearfish.  Celebration of Life Get Together is scheduled for Sunday, October 17th, 2021 at the Full Throttle Saloon from 4pm-8pm, at  19942 SD-79, Vale, SD 57788.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
