Shane Robert Cass, 27, of Lead, SD, and a former New Mexico resident passed away on July 3, 2017.

Shane was born October 3, 1989 in Rapid City, SD to Newell and Rachelle Cass.

He attended school in Lovington, NM and Spearfish, SD, graduating from Spearfish High School. He was currently working at the Deadwood Mountain Grand. He had two beautiful children.

Shane enjoyed spending time with his children and playing video games. He also enjoyed playing baseball with his family and bowling on good days. He always had a positive outlook on life no matter what life chose to hand him. He was stronger that anyone ever really knew.

He is survived by his children, Jordan Ray and Kylie Marie of Whitewood; his mother and step-father, Rachelle (Johnson) Mundy and Noel Mundy, Lovington, NM; his father and step-mother, Newell Cass, Jr. and Lore Graham, Spearfish, SD; his sister, Kiersten Rebecca Cass, Sturgis, SD; his three brothers, Brett Anthony Cass, Spearfish, SD, Zac Lynn Cass, Rapid City, SD and Vincent Noel Mundy, Sturgis, SD; his maternal grandparents, Vickie and Tony Werlinger; his paternal grandparents, Newell Cass, Sr., Barbara and Darrell Boyer; his uncles, Brian and Dennis Cass, Kenneth and Wesley Johnston, Alfred and Mike Brinkman, Tobey (Tracey) Cass. He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Hollister, his grandfather Bob Johnston and step-grandfather Ed Netterberg.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapel in Spearfish.
