Scott H. Roth, 56 of Spearfish, SD, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2019 in Spearfish.

Scott was born in Rapid City, SD on August 30, 1963 to Herbert and Joan Roth. He was the youngest of five children, following siblings Herb, David, Barb and Debra. Scott married the love of his life, Tracie Jensen, September 29, 2001 where they created a beautiful life together in Spearfish. Together they have three children, Jacob, Alison, and Megan. His children meant the world to him.

Scott had a fun sense of humor and was great at reading people. He knew just what to say when someone needed it and was often a sounding board for many. He developed many family-like friendships throughout his time in Deadwood. He was a very loving husband and dad. He will be greatly missed by all.

Scott was preceded in death by his father and mother, Herb and Joan; his brothers, Herb and David and his sister, Barb. He is survived by his wife Tracie; son, Jacob; daughters, Alison and Megan; sister, Deb Downes; brothers-in-law, Doug Downes, Kevin Johnson and Josh Jensen; sister-in-law, Renee Jensen; in- laws, Dave and Mary Jensen as well as several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 23, 2019 at Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapel in Spearfish. Cremation has taken place.
