Sara Rachel Hoffman was born to Tim and Alice Hoffman in Rapid City, South Dakota on October 2, 1986. She lit up their lives for 25 years. Sara passed away on March 20, 2012 at home in St Onge, South Dakota.

Sara attended the Lead – Deadwood schools and graduated in 2005. Sara enjoyed all sports. She participated and excelled in volleyball, basketball, soccer and track.

Sara was also a talented artist. Her work is enjoyed by family and friends.

Despite her shyness, Sara attracted friends wherever she went. It seems there was always a crowd of people wanting to be with her.

Sara has three beautiful sons – 5 year old Taiven, 2 year old Broton and 2 month old Porter. They are the love of her life.

She is survived by her mother Alice, father Tim, paternal grandmother Delores, brother Timmy and sister Becca as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be from 5-7 P.M., on Friday, March 23, 2012 at the Lead-Deadwood Memorial Chapel in Lead. Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the Lead-Deadwood Memorial Chapel.
