Obituary
Sandra K. Rasmussen, 71, Moorcroft, WY died Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at her home.
Sandra was born April 2, 1943 in Mason City, IA, where she was raised by her mother and step-father, Elizabeth (Wernet) and John Opp. She completed the eighth grade in Mason City, before the family moved to Washington State. Sandy married Elden Rasmussen on February 2, 1960 in Everett, WA. They later moved to Moorcroft, WY. Sandy was a homemaker, who worked various jobs, house cleaning and babysitting. She also kept busy with crafts making plastic beaded jewelry and painting. She especially enjoyed babysitting Kristy and Candice Wondercheck for many years.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Elden, Moorcroft; step-brothers, Tom Opp, Ron Opp and step-sister, Beverly Towell, all of the Yakima, WA area. She was preceded in death by her parents and one step-brother.
Funeral Services for Sandra will be at 10 AM, Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Cornerstone Ministries in Moorcroft, with visitation one-hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD.
Arrangements are under the care of Fidler-Roberts & Isburg Funeral Chapel of Sundance.
