Obituary

Sandra "Sandy" Lynn Lopez, 53, of Gillette, Wyoming left us peacefully at home with her loving husband and family by her side on Wednesday on June 03, 2015.

Sandra was born December 13, 1961 in Tioga, North Dakota. Sandra, daughter of Glen and Lorraine Olson, was the third child of five children. The Olson Family moved to Glendive, eventually settling in Wolf Point where she was raised. In 1980, she became a mother for the first time. A role which she executed so wonderfully and never retired from.

In the summer of 1987, Sandra met Louis. He'd commented to her that he really liked a woman in dress. The next day she wore a dress, knowing she would see him again. Shortly thereafter she moved to Gillette. On October 22, 1988 she married her best friend, Louis Lopez, an adoring husband of 26 years. Their marriage united two families. Sandra and Louis enjoyed every moment together. Spending time with family, friends, and grandchildren were her greatest joys in life. Sandra loved board games, puzzles, beadwork and riding Harley's with her husband. She was a member of the Wyoming Bikers Association – Northeast chapter, which helps chronically ill children in Northeast Wyoming. Always with a laugh and smile, Sandy brightened any room, or special occasion in which she was involved. She is deeply loved by her husband and family and will be missed dearly but never forgotten.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Louis Lopez and five children, Kristy Isaak, Aric Lopez, Andy Kastner, Jennifer Kastner, and Franscico (Kiko) Lopez. She was a loving grandmother to Savanna Isaak, Madison Isaak, Damion Hill, Arell Lopez, Kaiden Hill, Halia Hill, Felicia Kastner, Elijiah Kastner,Amiah Lopez, Olivia Kastner, and Victoria Kastner. Other survivors include siblings, Jerry Olson, Victoria Rice, Rebecca William, and Stephen Olson. Her parents, Glen and Lorraine Olson of Glendive, Montana and various aunts, uncles and cousins in the state of Washington. Sandy was preceded in death by her daughters, Rikki Kastner, Crystal Boysun, and great-grandma Eunice Bennett.
