Sammie Dupris, 84, of Eagle Butte, SD, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on October 4, 2022.

Sammie was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend. She was an avid reader and loved traveling and spontaneous adventures. Sammie was often described as an angel on earth by friends. She made people feel honored and loved. Her contagious laughter, loving arms, and words of support and encouragement will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Sam; children, Jennifer (Ray), Michael (Jamie), and Penelope (Helana); grandchildren, Tim (Kristine), Kassandra (Christopher), Katrina (Andrew) and Anthony; siblings, Charlie Anne Frost, Nina (Joey) Fidler, and Henry Houston; daughter-in-law, Gretchen; many nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren; fur babies, Andy and Nemo, and loving friends and family. She is preceded in death by her sons David Wayne, and Sam Edward; brother-in-law, Fritz Frost sister-in-law Pam Houston.

Per family request Mass of Christian Burial has taken place.
