Rosemary A Mohr
Christ fulfilled his promise to Rosemary with a cancer free body on July 3, 2015. Rosemary, born December 4, 1942, passed away at the David M Dorsett Healthcare Center and went to heaven to sit at the feet of the Master.
Rosemary was born in Lead, SD to Lakota and Melvin Gifford. She graduated from Lead High School in 1961 and married Lyman Mohr Nov. 4th of that year. They had three children. Rosemary performed custodial services throughout her life. She cleaned at businesses, schools, and countless private homes. Rosemary took great pride in her work and was well known as a hard worker who would get the job done and done well.
Rosemary loved her family. Picnics, family reunions, camping, and fishing with family were her passion. She enjoyed serving and giving. Her life was filled with church activities and Rosemary loved studying, hearing, and living God's Word.
Survivors include her children, Cindy (Rick) Fox, Rita (David) Langer, Larry (Markel) Mohr; six grandchildren; four sisters, Phyllis (Duane) Sander, Lenora (Bob) Haag, Debbie (Paul) Wakefield, and Sara (Larry) Singrey and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate Rosemary's life at Calvary Temple in Spearfish on July 18th at 10am. A "picnic" will follow the service and all are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established at Wells Fargo that will go to benefit Water for Life and Northern Hills Hospice.
