Obituary

Roberta Jowan Paul was born on November 13, 1944, in Chicago, Illinois and passed away on November 5, 2026, in Upton, Wyoming.

Roberta was a farm wife who lived life in her own way. She was strong-willed, hardworking, and never afraid to speak her mind. She spent much of her life embracing the joys and challenges of farm life, finding satisfaction in the simple things that made a house a home.

She enjoyed spending her time reading and canning, hobbies that reflected her appreciation for quiet moments and the rewards of hard work. Whether tending to everyday responsibilities or enjoying a good book, Roberta had a way of doing things her own way.

Roberta will be remembered for her strong spirit, stubborn nature, and the life she built in the community she called home. Though she will be deeply missed, the memories she leaves behind will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in passing by her parents Bernell and Helen Lewis, her children Michelle and John Reed. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years Gary Paul, their children Rebecca, Colleen, John “Bud”, David, Tyler, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Services will be held at 1:00PM Monday, November 9, 2026, at the Upton Community Center. Burial will follow the service at Greenwood Cemetery.
