Robert Leroy Perry, 92 of Belle Fourche, SD died on November 19, 2012.

Robert L. Perry was the eldest of three children born to Frank S and Helen S Davis Perry and was born December 20, 1919, in Dixon, IL. He died November 19, 2012, in Belle Fourche, SD. In May 1942, Bob married Vivian M Hicks of Polo, IL, and soon had sons (twins) and a daughter that they raised in Dixon for about 12 years. Then they moved to Dundee, IL, and after their children were educated and married, Bob and Viv moved several more times. Bob made his career in the sales field, selling many products including prefab homes, feed, Harvester silos, and lumber. Later in his career he found his favorite product to sell, AFLAC health and life insurance and he remained with AFLAC until his retirement.
Bob Perry never knew a stranger. He would befriend someone in a matter of minutes and would always invite someone to sit down and visit. He was an inveterate questioner and listener – always interested in hearing what someone had to say.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, one son, David R., and sister, Ruth J Hahn.
Bob leaves his wife Vivian M, and daughter Ann R Perry, both of Belle Fourche; one brother, Edward F (Ellen) of Hickory, NC; son, Richard E (Anna) of San Bernardino, CA; and grandsons; Daniel R Perry, Michael E Perry, David C. and Shawn S. Neidhardt, granddaughters Michelle L (Glen) Lammers, Tiffany A., Jodie L., Olivia P., and six great- grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Florida.
