Robert Ray Jensen, Sr. 75, of Deadwood, SD, Meza, AZ and Gatlinburg, TN, passed peacefully on July 27, 2014.
Robert was born April 19, 1939 in Alliance, Nebraska. He graduated from Lead High School in 1957, attended South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD and graduated from Black Hills State University, Spearfish, SD with a bachelor's degree. On April 7, 1958, he married DeLoris Matter and they have remained soul mates. He passed while spending his summer months with his relatives, Dorothy and Dennis Winsell (two of his favorite people).
He is survived by his children; Robert, Jr. & wife Sandi, DeNice & David, Cydney & Bill, Travis & Michelle; fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; brother Harold and wife Sue and sister Phyllis and husband Bob.
Robert approached each day how he lived his life. . .with a positive attitude and a smile. He was always "just right" and would often say "forget your age and live your life".
So for now. . . "Adios, see you on the path".
