Bob was on the Board of Directors and a member of the High Plains Western Heritage Center. Being a member of the Northern Hills Barbershop Quartet was always a joy for Bob to sing and be with his musical friends. They performed at the Days of 76 Parade, 4th of July Parades in Belle Fourche and also gave flowers and performed at nursing homes throughout the Black Hills.
Bob is survived by his wife Alice (Larive) Pattinson-Christofferson, children Jane Christofferson and Debra Christofferson; two daughters in law, Kristi Christofferson and Aleen Ford; sister Darlene Evans; sister in law Helen Christofferson; brothers Jerry and Larry (Jolayn) Christofferson; half-brothers Donald (Judy), Keith, David and Allan; his grandchildren Elizabeth (Kyle) Laughlin, Carson Christofferson and Katie (Jason) Nelson; step-grandchildren Piper (Jade) Gribble, Gwen Howell, Lucas Howell, Sara (Tom) Jentz, Joel Pattinson and William Ebeling; great-grandchildren Emerson Laughlin, Grace Laughlin, Rhys Nelson and Alucard Nelson; nine step-greatgrandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
