Robert Charles Anderson, 80, of Belle Fourche, SD passed away Saturday, November 11th, 2023, at Monument Health, Rapid City, SD.

Robert was born on May 13, 1943, in Flandreau, SD to Duane and Phyllis (Charles) Anderson.  He graduated from Lead High School in 1962.  He joined the National Guard and moved to California and was discharged in 1968.  He met Kay (Maughan) in January 1964, and they married on June 10th, 1965. They had three children, Holly, Bobbi, and Tammy.  He divorced Kay in November 1986.

Robert married Linda Lee Shoemaker on October 24th, 1987 where they ended up residing in CA and then retiring in Spearfish, SD.

He worked for the phone company, basically for his love of playing music.

He is survived by his wife Linda, 2 daughters Holly and Tammy, Stepchildren, Kevin, Dewayne & Crystal, 22 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Bobbi.

Graveside services will be at 2 pm on Friday, November 17, 2023, at Mountain Lawn Cemetery near Lead.  A memorial has been established.  A reception will follow from 3:30-5:30 at the VFW in Spearfish.
