Richard Allen Wittmayer of Deadwood, SD passed away at home on Friday July 21st, 2023.

Richard was born to Fern & Kenneth Wittmayer on September 14th, 1955 in Stanley, ND where they raised him. After graduating from Stanley High School in 1973, Richard went to work at Air Heaters in Tioga, ND. Richard married Rhonda at the Lutheran Church in Ross, ND on December 30th, 1977.  The couple raised their children and lived in Ross until moving to the Black Hills in July, 2002.  They bought a home outside of Deadwood which they lived in until the time of his death.

Richard enjoyed motorcycles, fishing, archery, golf, concerts, campfires, and spending time & playing games with his family. He loved living life!

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, in-laws, & several cousins.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Rhonda Wittmayer of Deadwood, SD, sons & grandchildren; Joey & Amy Marmon of Ross, ND, Zoey & Deuce of Ross and Ace Marmon of Greeley, CO, Corey & Carrie Wittmayer of Deadwood, SD, Eric, Paige, Lillie, Vivian, Chase, & Jennah, Kelly & Amber Wittmayer of Stanley, ND, Devon, Elizabeth & Kody, brother, Larry & Marlyss Wittmayer of Mandan, ND, sisters, Linda Iverson of Lake Havasu City, AZ,  Diane & Joe Records of Boise, ID and Joanne & Steve Felchle of Bismarck, ND.

A service will be held on Saturday, July 29th at 3:00 P.M. at The Pines/ Scout Building 440 Reservoir Rd. Stanley, ND 58784
