Richard Mario Tesi, Sr. was born in Columbus, Ohio, May 24, 1934. After falling into a deep sleep, he awoke in Heaven with his Savior-Jesus Christ on the morning of Aug. 19, 2014.
He was preceded in death by parents Mario and Inez Tesi, and sister Madelyn (Tesi) Moretti. He is Survived by son Richard Tesi, Jr, grandson Nicolas; son Christopher C. Tesi, wife Sharon (Huck) Tesi grandchildren Jared and Madison; Timothy S. Tesi wife Laura (Harrison) Tesi, grandchildren Ashlie, Samantha (Tesi) Graessle, husband Adam Graessle, great grandson Spencer Graessle and Lauren Tesi.
We thank his Spearfish friends for their kind and loving words. They are very precious to Richard Tesi, Jr. (his son) and the rest of us (his family) as we're told how beloved he was by all of you.
Richard served in the United States Army from 1954-56. After he gave his life to Jesus Christ, he served him continuously. Even in the terrible pain from cancer, he prayed for the needs and salvation of others as well as every family member to serve the Lord with all their heart. We, his family, honor his Godly memory.

Richard will be buried in the Dayton National (Veteran's) Cemetery.
