Obituary
Richard L. May, 77, of Sundance, WY passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016, at the Rapid City Regional Hospital Hospice House.
Richard Lynn May was born May 28, 1939 in Sioux Falls, SD to Harry S. and Esther L. May. He spent his younger years in Sioux Falls, SD and then his family moved to Hartford, SD. His adult years were spent working at John Morrell and Company in Sioux Falls, SD and after 26 years of employment thee, he moved to Wyoming where he worked for the City of Sundance and the Wyoming Highway Department of which he retired from with 20 years of service.
On September 7, 1974, he married Susan Lynn Lofgren.
He is survived by his wife Susan and three children by a previous marriage; Duane, Lynnette and Leanne all of from the Sioux Falls area, and thirteen grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Thomas Dean May.
In honoring Richard's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
