Richard Lee Dodson, 49 of Sundance, WY, passed away on July 4, 2013 at his home.

Richard was born to Robert John and Bernice Catherine (Slusarski) Dodson on October 12, 1963 in Berlin, Germany.

Richard was a lover and giver of life. He was daily developing his relationship with Jesus Christ and was always willing to give a helping hand. He was an avid music fan, loved the Dallas Cowboys and giving hugs.

He very proudly received his GED and once owned and operated a DJ business, laid concrete and did painting. Although much of his adult life was spent battling health issues, Rick was able to have a smile and treat each day as a gift to be shared with others.

He was much enjoyed and will be missed by all who called him friend, which also included his constant companion, Cricket, his dog of 12 years which he has had since he was a six weeks old pup.

Richard is survived by his father, Robert Dodson Sr.; sisters, Sharon (Dave) Secrest and Susan (Mark) Olson; brother, Robert (Linda) Dodson; nieces and nephews, Mark, Sean, Melissa,, Megan, John and Kayla; great-nephew; and aunt Judy Dodson. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bernice; daughter, London; uncle, William and great-grandparents.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, July 15, 2013 at the Chapel of Faith Church in Sundance, WY with Pastor Dave Jagemann officiating. A memorial has been established in his name to the Chapel of Faith to be used in assisting others in need in the Sundance Community.
