Obituary
Raymond G. Trotter, 66, of Spearfish, SD, died Thursday, March 13, 2008 at Spearfish Regional Hospital.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapel in Spearfish with Reverend Gordon Higgins officiating. The family would like to invite everyone to the Cedar House Restaurant for a potluck dinner following the service.
A memorial has been established.
Ray was born November 19, 1941 to Howard and Anna (Congleton) Trotter in Trojan, SD. He moved with his family to Pickstown, SD where he attended school. He married Dorothy Robinson in Yankton, SD. The couple moved to Spearfish in the early 1990's. He worked at the High Plains Western Heritage Center and later worked for Barney's Rental and Dakota Equipment Rental in Spearfish. He enjoyed working and truck driving.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Trotter, Spearfish, daughters; Kathy (John) Skaggs, Whitewood, SD, Theresa Holland, Tabor, SD and Kim Bloch, Lake Andes, SD son, Ron Trotter, Lesterville, SD, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and very special friends, the entire Donat family.
