Randy Kay Pridgeon, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Sundance on October 31, 2024, at the age of 72. Born in Windom, MN, on March 23, 1952, Randy was the cherished only daughter of W.B. and Leora Porter. She was preceded in death by her parents, her little brother Durand, and her grandparents.
Randy spent her formative years in Mankato, MN, and Rapid City, before attending Black Hills State College, where she earned her degree in social work. Her thirst for knowledge and dedication to her work led her to further studies in medical technology and coding.
Known for her warmth, wit, and zest for life, Randy's hobbies included knitting, gardening, cooking, rock hounding, camping, and traveling. Above all, she loved reading and sharing laughter with her loved ones, especially through her playful banter with her children, grandchildren, and one and only cherished son-in-law.

She also worked and brought her compassionate spirit to her role as Social Director at the local hospital then Sundance Assisted Care. Later retiring from Sundance State Bank to enjoy traveling and her family.
