Randolph Peters, Jr., 74 of Spearfish passed away on September 2, 2019.

Randolph was born on April 9, 1945 in Lead, SD to Randolph Peters, Sr. and Andrea Lomhein. He worked for the North Chicago Police Department as a Chief for 25 years, retiring in 1995. After retiring from the Police Department he went on to work as a Walmart greeter for 15 years. He loved to interact with people and tell stories about his police days. His favorite pastime was to be with his dogs, Raya and Cinnamon.

Randolph is survived by his granddaughter, Amanda Peters; grandson, Todd May; son-in-law, Tony Hicks; great-grandson, Braiden Weiers; great-granddaughter, Kaylee Hicks and his dog, Cinnamon. He is preceded in death by his mother, Andrea Lomheim; father, Randolph Peters, Sr.; daughter, Candace Peters; sister, Carol Bush and dog, Raya.

Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapel in Spearfish.
