Peter Gorham 71, of Beulah, WY peacefully passed away on July 22, 2010 at his home.
Pete was born in Deadwood, SD to John and Addie (Ward) Gorham on November 14, 1938. He lived as a boy on the 10 mile Stage Stop Ranch in Englewood, SD until the age of 10. The family moved off the ranch to Deadwood where he attended school at St. Ambrose Catholic School and Deadwood High School. He was in the National Guard for a short period and joined the regular Army in January 1957 and after his term of enlistment he was honorably discharged.
He worked for the City of Deadwood and Bob Luckie's Candy Company. They delivered candy all over WY and SD. He then moved to Loveland CO and worked for the Thomson School District for 30 years. While working there he married Barbra "Bobbi" Shaw and together they bought a small farm at Masonville, CO. After Barbra passed away he moved to Beulah.
Survivors include his sister Kathleen Spauling and brother Michael Gorham and their spouses both of Loveland CO and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, sister Colleen Gorham and brother Patrick and Emmett Gorham.
Graveside services will be held at a later date.
