Paul Redinger, 85 of Spearfish passed away on November 12, 2024.
Paul Theodore Redinger was born in Deadwood SD on June 11, 1939, to Reazo and Evelyn (Olson) Redinger. He married Gracie Ann Massie on September 6, 1959 in Spearfish, SD. They started their married life in Deadwood, then moved to Vancouver, WA, where he learned the masonry trade. In 1974, he moved his family back to Spearfish and worked as a brick and stone mason in the Black Hills until his retirement. During his last years, he spent many hours in his woodshop making toys and pizza peels. He was a storyteller and loved to make people laugh.
Paul is survived by his wife; two sons, Steve (Bonnie) of Sheridan, WY and Randy (Anna) of Kelso, WA; four daughters, Annie (Joel) Hendrickson of Sheridan; Cindy (Dave) Charlson of Battle Ground, WA; Amy (Mark) Uskoski of Spearfish, SD; and Wendi (Mike) Simonson of Duluth, MN; daughter-in-law Colette Ek; 54 grandchildren and 194 great-grandchildren; sisters Evelyn (Duane) Wilen; Mary (Paul) Kysar; and Edna (Bill) Bunn.
He was predeceased by his parents; son Wade and daughter Dawna; grandson Brandon; great-grandchildren Fynn Redinger and Lanie Charlson; and four brothers Bud, Bob, Daryl and Jim.
Paul was a lifelong member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church. He will be missed by his family and many Christian friends.
Visitation will be from 6:30-7:30 PM on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church in Spearfish. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior at the church. Burial will take place in Sheridan, WY.
