Paul Joseph Langevin of Pine Haven, WY passed away peacefully on April 6, 2026, in Sundance Hospital.
Born January 13, 1951, to Gerald and Ella Langevin in Little Canada, MN. Paul attended St. John’s grade school in Little Canada, Hill high school in Maplewood, University of MN, and St. Paul Vocation-Technical School.
Paul and Anne met in 1969 and married in 1973. He moved to northern MN too and worked in metal fabrication for 27 years. Weekends were spent at the little cabin in Orr fishing, hunting, and 4-wheeling. The outdoors was Paul’s paradise. Paul retired and built a home in Orr in 2000. In 2002, Paul and Anne moved to WY and spent 23 wonderful years with great friends there. Paul said at the time they moved to WY that there were 400,000 people in WY and 500,000 deer hunters in MN…why wouldn’t he move to WY and increase his odds?
To Paul there was hunting and fishing and then there was life to get through. He loved his Anne and provided in every way for her. A close second were the many dogs he had over the years. The last two being Teddy and Patch. He loved cooking for friends at Grizzly Outfitters and had many good stories to tell and remember about that. Paul was an exceptional shot, having only one good eye to see out of. Spent many great times with friends in blinds hunting waterfowl. He used to say that for 50 weeks he was a deer’s best friend…. For two weeks in deer season, they were enemies. Paul was a big man with a heart as big. He was so very loved and he loved back even harder. The “happy hunting grounds” has a new resident…
Thanks for being here, Paul! You gave so much goodness… now it’s your turn to be getting the goodness.
Paul is survived by his wife, Anne, brothers, David (Brenda) and Mark, both in MN.
A celebration of Paul’s life will be held on Saturday, April 18th at 11:00 am in the Rocky Point Community Hall near Oshoto, WY, Weston County.
Arrangements are under the care of Fidler-Roberts & Isburg Funeral Chapel of Sundance & Isburg Crematory of Spearfish. Online condolences may be written at https://www.fidler-isburgfuneralchapels.com/
