Patricia Ann "Pat" (Goluh) Pribilske, 86 of Spearfish, SD, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 11, 2017.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Harry James Pribilske; parents Charles and Estelle Goluh; siblings Charles "Chuck" Goluh and Madeline Polich.

Patricia is survived by her two daughters, Debbie (Steve) Gray of Spearfish, SD and Stephanie Pribilske of Sundance, WY; a sister, Barbara (John "Bud") Matejka of Tinley Park, IL, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Originally from Chicago, IL, Patricia proudly served in the United States Navy where she met and married Harry. The Navy brought Patricia, Harry and their family to various ports in the U.S. and overseas, including the Philippines. Harry continued in the Navy until his retirement after 21 years of service. With their Navy life behind them, they settled in Houston, TX. Patricia focused on a career in banking and she and Harry were active at St. Frances de Sales and St. Albert Catholic Church. Serving by Harry's side in the Knights of Columbus, Patricia was an active member of the Council's Ladies Auxiliary. They loved life…together. After Harry passed away in 1990, Patricia continued working and soon became passionate about volunteering. She was a longtime hospital volunteer at Memorial Hermann Southwest in Houston, which later turned into a supervisory position. Patricia enjoyed traveling, and was proud of her trip to Europe which included the Netherlands and Germany. In 2012, after falling in love with the Northern Black Hills, she decided to move to Spearfish where she continued to follow her passion for volunteering at Queen City Regional Clinic. Soon after she moved, her other daughter Stephanie followed. Patricia truly embraced the fresh air and mountains and would often start the day opening the front door, taking a deep breath, exclaiming "This is the day the Lord has made! Rejoice and be glad!"

A graveside service will be held at 12:30 pm, on Friday, September 15, 2017, at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to The Women's Military Service Memorial, or Spearfish Regional Health-Home Hospice.
