Patricia "Pat" L. Kruse, 65, of Lead, SD passed away on Wednesday August 8, 2018, at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.

Pat was born on May 28, 1953, in Albin, WY to George and Bernice (Low) Cox. Pat married Lindsey Kruse in 1987, and they lived a wonderful 31 years together in Lead, SD.  Pat was a house wife the majority of her life, but she also worked for a time at Decker's and later Blondie's in Deadwood.  In her spare time, Pat enjoyed crafting, quilting, playing on the computer, and crime shows on TV. Pat's greatest joy in life was her grandchildren and her cats.

Pat is survived by her husband, Lindsey Kruse, daughters, Michelle (Chris) Smith and Holly (Miguel) Muniz, sons, Robert Smith and Dave (Melody) Fender, sister, Vivian Flores, brother, Frankie (Bernadette) Perez and numerous grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Justin Fender and daughters, Sherri Heidrich and Kerri Fender, four sisters; Georgia Moore, Ethel Disimone, Nancy Jimenez and Jacquelyn Offerdahl, and brother, Walter Cox.

A memorial service will be 11:00am on Friday, August 17, 2018 at the Lead-Deadwood Memorial Chapel in Lead, SD.  A private family inurnment will be at a later date.
