Norma Sylvia Hoffman, 84, passed away peacefully at home in Belle Fourche, SD on November 22nd, 2025. Norma was born to Arvo and Alina Koski on May 13, 1941 in Deadwood, SD. She grew up on a ranch near Highmore, SD. In 1959, she married Herschell Hoffman, and they lived most of their married life in Belle Fourche, where they raised their six children.

Norma is survived by her husband, Herschell, sons Jim with Camee of Washington, John with Andrea of Washington, Steve with Renee of Montana; daughters Marcia Rhoden of South Dakota, Roxanne Dawkins of South Dakota, and Cindy with Dave Muonio of Washington; 23 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings Tom with AnnaMae Koski of Wyoming, Ann with Steve Kenoyer of South Dakota, and Willy with Vicky Koski of South Dakota, and many Christian friends. She was a lifelong member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, infant sons Kevin and Scott, granddaughter Jennifer, siblings Darlene, Barbara and Donald, and son-in-law Rick.

Visitation will be from 6:30-7:30 PM on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church in Spearfish, SD. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at the church. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Spearfish. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
