Norma Deloris (Larson) Dill, 82, died Friday, February 27, 2009 at her home in Spearfish, SD.

Norma was born October 26, 1926 in Pukwana, SD, to John and Laurel (LaVoy) Larson. She graduated from high school in Pukwana in 1944. On October 24, 1945 she married Willie E. Dill in Rapid City, SD. At the age of 58, she fulfilled a life long dream of becoming a nurse when she attended LPN school at St. Mary's School of Practical Nursing in Pierre, SD. After raising her children and throughout her working life she worked in nursing homes in various places and at the hospital in Chamberlain, SD. She was affectionately known as "Grandma Dill" to most everyone who knew her. She was a member of the Pukwana American Legion Auxiliary.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Willie in 1992, and her sisters Evelyn Houska and Dorothy Merwin.

Norma is survived by her children: Debra (Steven) Leige of Spearfish, Jon Dill of Rapid City, and Laurel (Anthony) Plane of Houston, TX, her adopted daughter, Terri White of Pierre, SD, her adopted sister, Lily Treadway of Spearfish, 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and one brother Leland Larson of Mitchell, SD.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
