Noreen Ellen Steffen passed away at home on Monday, October 10, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born June 22, 1946, in Lead to Helen (Ott) Kipena and Otto Kipena.

She was reunited with her husband of 50 years, Stanley Steffen, in heaven. Also waiting there for her were her sisters and brothers; LaVern Kipena, Doris Kipena, Marliss Plaggemeyer, Robert Kipena, Delores Arionus, and a grandson Jacob Steffen.

She is survived by her daughters, Helen Steffen, Irene Daywitt, and Kimberly Steffen; granddaughter, Dena Steffen; and great-granddaughter, Hailey Steffen-Dittus; brother, Ralph Kipena; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Thursday, October 20, 2022, at the Lead-Deadwood Memorial Chapel in Lead. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 P.M. Burial will be at 3:00 P.M. at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD.
