Norbert “David” Farner passed away on July 23, 2026, at Fort Mead VA Hospital, Hospice Ward, where he received excellent care.

He was born in Gowanda, NY on September 28, 1954. Dave served in the Airforce from 1973-1975.

He loved the outdoors and lived in several western states, but his two favorite places were Alaska and the Black Hills.

Dave is survived by his daughter Dr. Tara Estright (Chuck), grandson Dylan, and siblings Lee (Ed), Denise (Jim), Cheryl (Doug) and Bill (Indy).

Dave’s final resting place will be in the Black Hills of South Dakota.
