Obituary
Nancy (Racich) Roth, 57, Spearfish, died Monday, July 26, 2010, at Spearfish Regional Hospital.
A memorial service will he held at 10:00 A.M, Friday, July 30 2010 at Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapel in Spearfish.
Nancy was born August 27, 1952, in Deadwood, SD, to Paul and Mary (Eixenberger) Racich. She was a 1970 graduate of Lead High School. Nancy devoted much of her life to providing for others through her primary passion, cooking. She supplied many warm meals to deer hunters at Gaughen's Ranch, employees at Mike's Paint and Body, and any visitors that might stop by her home or the body shop. Nancy also dedicated a great deal of time to Mike's Paint and Body in Spearfish. She played many roles at the body shop including office manager, friend, confidant, and most importantly mother. Many young employees looked to Nancy for guidance over the years.
She is survived by her husband, Mike McColley of Spearfish; her son, Shawn (Misty) McColley of Hanover, New Hampshire; two sisters, Susie Holzhauer of Boulder, Colorado and Diana Wagner of Middleton, Pennsylvania; her cousins; and her niece and nephew. Her parents preceded her in death.
