Mrs. Nancy Coon, 88 of Sundance Wyoming passed away on August 15, 2018 at Hospice of the Hills, Rapid City, SD.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30am, Aug 20, 2018 at the Black Hills National Cemetery.

A reception will follow at the Sundance Senior Center at 2pm, Aug 20, 2018.

Nancy was born in Lima, Ohio on March 30, 1930. She graduated from Union City High School and after she worked at various positions around Union City, Indiana.

Nancy was married to Raymond L Williams in 1948, they were married for 15 years, in that time had three sons, Gary (Jake), Charles (Chuck), and Mark prior to locating to Sundance Wyoming. A fatal accident took the life of Ray.

Nancy remarried MSG Clifford L Coon in 1967, having another son, Michael (Mike) in 1969; followed Cliff to various duty assignments prior to his retirement from the Air Force in 1974, eventually settling in Sheridan Wyoming. Upon Mike's graduation, Cliff and Nancy moved to San Francisco, spending several years on the west coast, then relocating back to Sundance.

Nancy and Cliff had recently celebrated their 50 ^th anniversary of a wonderful marriage.

Nancy worked at the Sundance Hospital as a nurse's assistant, always helping people in need. She enjoyed quilting and sewing and received numerous awards and ribbons for her wares while on display at the Alaska State Fair.

Nancy is survived by her husband, children Mark and Mike, one brother, Michael Blankley, one sister, Judy Shreves and several nieces and nephews as well as many close friends. She was preceded in death by Raymond Williams, Gary Williams and Charles Williams.
