Nadine Louise Moser, 81, died Monday, March 23, 2015 at Close to Home Hospice in Gillette, Wyoming.
Nadine was born September 2, 1933 to James and Elsie Duvall. She was the youngest of eight children. She grew up in the Rozet area graduating from Rozet in 1951. She was also the Gillette Rodeo Queen in 1951.
She married James Taylor in 1952. To this union four children were born, Vicki, Delmar, Verlene and Vonda. They lived in Rozet for a few years until moving to Moorcroft so their children could go to school. She was a homemaker and devoted her life to her children and of course her yard. She took pride in all of this. Jim passed away July 1979.
Nadine married Melburn "Bill" Moser on August 22, 1989. The couple made their home in Moorcroft. This marriage added four more children, Doug, David, Vivian and Millie. Bill passed away January 2010.
Nadine hobbies included scrapbooking, crocheting, knitting and about any other craft you can name. She started a craft store in Moorcroft, Nadine's Whatsit Shop to provide craft items for the community. She also enjoyed square dancing for several years.
She is a 50 year member of Upton #32, Order of the Eastern Star, life member of the American Legion Auxiliary # 25 and the VFW Auxiliary #8473 in Moorcroft and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Moorcroft.
Nadine is survived by her daughters, Vicki Paddock of Moorcroft, Verlene Reynolds of Gillette and Vonda (Bill) Waxler of Casper; son, J. Delmar (Dorrie) Taylor of Gillette; sister, Marguerite Kummerfeld of Gillette; brothers, Kenneth Duvall of Gillette and Verlin Duvall of Rozet; 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by stepchildren, Doug Moser, David Moser, Vivian Watson of Gillette and Millie Sullivan of Salt Lake City, Utah.
She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands;sister, Norma Lee Duvall; brothers, Carroll Duvall, Merle Duvall and infant, James Duvall; granddaughter, Brenda Reynolds and son-in-law Gene Reynolds.
Per Nadine's request there will be no services. A family memorial service will be held at a later day. Memorials are suggested to benefit Treasured Memories Hospice, Presbyterian Church Building Fund , both of Moorcroft or Close to Home Hospice in Gillette.
