Michael James Patterson, 61, of Harding, SD was on born July 23, 1951 to Lawrence "Pat" and Donna (Penn) Patterson and passed away from this world on Tuesday, September 4, 2012., from complications as a result of a spider bite.

He is survived by his partner and friend Susan Schilling, Harding; son, Tyler Patterson Billings, MT; daughters, Audra Bauer, Baker, MT and Allison Patterson, Harding; mother Donna Patterson, Spearfish; sisters, Terryl (Terry) Matson, Spearfish and Geri (Stan) Lindholm, Grand Junction, CO; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Pat Patterson and niece Stanna Lindholm.
Mike was a heavy equipment operator for many years in Billings. He moved back to South Dakota to be on the ranch with Dan Penn. He loved the ranch life and loved living there with his family.

Mike will be missed and remembered by all who crossed his path. He was a friend to everyone he met, and a great dad. He was truly grateful to his many friends and all of their help and generosity during his time of illness.

Memorial services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, September, 7, 2012 at the Harding Church. A time of friendship and stories will be held at the Harding Fire Hall after the service.
