Michael John Morgan, 66 of Spearfish, found his peace on Friday, April 1, 2016 surrounded by his family. After a long fought battle with COPD, he can now breathe free again.

Michael was born on January 23, 1950 to Col. Delmer and Idamae (Ellis) Morgan at Hickam Air Force Base in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Michael is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary; his children, Michele Jones (Justin Martz), Matthew Morgan, Marc (Shannon ) Morgan and Michael (Sheila) Morgan; grandchildren, Trevor Walz, Tory Walz, Reese Jones, Kanyan Morgan, Aleshia Skavang, Stephani Kunkel and Jordan Kunkel; and great-grandchildren, Riley and Carson Skavang. He was preceded in death by his parents; older brother, Dennis and niece, Emily Morgan.

There will be an informal gathering and dinner from 4-7 PM on Friday April 8, 2016 at the Snappers Club in the Spearfish City Campground, for family and friends to celebrate Mike's life.

Arrangements are under the care of Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapels and Crematory Service of Spearfish.
