It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maybelle Louise Kamrath, née Wilson, who departed this world on February 12, 2025, at the age of 92 in Spearfish, South Dakota.

Maybelle was born on December 4, 1932, to her beloved parents, William Lee and Velma Sarah (Stoebe) Wilson. After graduating from Mt. Lake Public School in 1950, she furthered her education at Mankato School of Business. Maybelle's professional journey saw her contributing her skills and dedication in various roles, including working for a veterinarian in St. James, MN, the Windom Co-op in Windom, MN, and the Jackson County ASCS office.

On July 26, 1957, Maybelle married her soulmate, James Kamrath. Together, they shared a life filled with love and companionship, enjoying activities such as attending gun shows and flea markets. Their home was always enriched by the presence of their cherished dogs.

Throughout their lives, Maybelle and James resided in several places, including Windom, MN, Park Rapids, MN, Colorado, and Montana, before finally settling in Spearfish, SD.

Maybelle is survived by her three brothers: Roger (Ruby) Wilson, Ray Wilson, and Gary (Linda) Wilson. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, in-laws, and sister-in-law, Bonnie (Nelson) Wilson.
