Mary C. Ralston, 94 of Sundance, Wyoming died Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Crook County Memorial Nursing Home in Sundance.
Visitation will be from 4-6 P.M., Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Fidler-Roberts & Isburg Funeral Chapel in Sundance.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday, July 19, 2010 at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Sundance with Pastor Duane Simonson officiating. Burial will take place at Black Hills National Cemetery.
A memorial has been established to benefit the Crook County Memorial Nursing Home.
Mary was born February 3, 1916 to Anton and Rose Kadrmas in Dickinson, North Dakota. She was raised and attended school in New Hradec, ND. She married Steve Ficek on October 7, 1938 to this union three children were born; Bonnie, Francis and LaVonne. Steve passed away in 1952. While raising her children Mary worked as a surgical tech for a number of years. She married Charles Ralston in 1961 and the couple moved to Sundance, Wyoming where they owned and operated an upholstery shop. Mary enjoyed crafts, gardening and dancing.
Mary is survived by her children; Bonnie (Ed) Cooper of Sundance, WY, Francis Ficek of Sturgis, SD and LaVonne Mischel of Dickinson, ND, ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren, two sisters, Bessie Schmidt and Della Polensky and one brother, Tony Kadrmas all of Billings, MT.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, siblings; Molly, Rose, Jean, Blanche, Jerry and Ed and one grandson, Floyd Mischel.
