Mary E. Crump, 69, Rapid City, SD died Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Rapid City Regional Hospital.

Mary was born April 19, 1946 to Leo and Josephine (Gouveia) Tynon at Ogdensburg, NY. She grew up in Ogdensburg and graduated from high school in 1964. She married Bernard Crump on April 29, 1967 in Ogdensburg. Bernard was in the Air Force and they spent his career living at various Air Force Bases. After he retired from the Air Force, they settled near Plattsburgh Air Force Base, where she worked as a cook for several years. She retired from that job in 1992. In 1994, they moved to Box Elder, SD, to be near family, and they have lived in the Black Hills area since.

Mary is survived by two sons, Bernard (Sherry) Crump, Jr. Box Elder, Christopher Crump, Sr, Huron; three granddaughters, Lyndsay Crump, West Chazy, NY, twins, Kayla Crump, Box Elder, Kirstyn Crump, Summerset; two grandsons, Christopher Crump, Jr, Elijah Crump both of Huron; great-grandson, Dustin Hansen, Box Elder; great granddaughter, Jadyn Russell, Summerset and brothers, Leo Tynon, Jr, Ogdensburg, NY and Anthony Tynon, PA.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bernard Crump, Sr.; son, Leo Crump.

Visitation for Mary will be 4-6 PM, Tuesday, August 4, at Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapel in Spearfish. Graveside Services will be at 1:30 PM Wednesday, August 5 at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis. A memorial has been established to American Kidney Foundation and American Diabetes Association.
