Obituary

Marshall "Bink" Nussbaum, 84 of Sundance, Wyoming died Monday, August 3, 2009 at Crook County Memorial Hospital.

Vigil services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sundance.

Memorial services will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, August 7, 2009 at the Clarenbach Memorial Park in Sundance.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to benefit Crook County Memorial Nursing Home. Condolences may be mailed to 1336 Hwy 585, Sundance, Wyoming 82729

Bink was born February 8, 1925 to Claude and Gladys (Reynolds) Nussbaum in Pine Bluffs, Wyoming, he was the second oldest of nine children. Following graduation from high school he moved to Sundance in 1945 to work for two uncles, Albert and Vernon on a ranch south of Sundance. He met Vernie Ryan in 1947 at her senior prom. The couple married June 6th 1948 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Newcastle. They lived all their married life on the family ranch south of Sundance. Bink was a lifelong rancher and raised Angus cattle. He was a 4-H leader for 30 years and was a school board member for 13 years.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Vernie Nussbaum, five daughters; Kathy Royer, Susan Sackett, Becky Conkey, Sheila Hunter and Brandy Nussbaum, sons-in-law; Doug Hunter, Dick Sackett and Tait Overgard, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and siblings; Claude (Betty) Nussbaum, Charles (Lola) Nussbaum, Kenneth (Juanita) Nussbaum, Jay ( Shelby) Nessbaum, Betty Necklason and sister-in-law, Grace Nussbaum.
