Marilyn Bridenstine, 91, passed away on August 28, 2026 at Spearfish Canyon Healthcare.

Marilyn was born to William and Pearl Friese on September 12, 1934 in Huron, SD. Marilyn married Howard Bridenstine on December 17, 1958 in Huron.

Marilyn was a member of the First Baptist Church since 1996. She loved being a wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cats and dogs and doing puzzles.

Marilyn is survived by her son, Dan (Renee) Bridenstine; grandchildren Josh (Shanna) Bridenstine, Megan (Josh) Deskins, Michelle Martz, Jeremy Martz and Jacob Martz; son-in-law Michael Martz; and several great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Howard, son Dennis, daughter Debbie, and sister Delores.

Memorial Services will be 11:00 am on Friday, September 4, 2026 at First Baptist Church in Deadwood. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Deadwood.
