Obituary
Marcia Darland, 75 of Spearfish, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013 at Spearfish Regional Hospital.
Visitation will be from 2:00-6:00 P.M., Friday, January 25, 2013 at Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapel in Spearfish.
Funeral Services will be 2:00P.M., Saturday, January 26, 2013 at All Angels Episcopal Church in Spearfish with Reverend Father Bunker Hill officiating, burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Spearfish.
Marcia was born on April 3, 1937 to William and Florence Moore in Deadwood, SD. She graduated from Deadwood High School in 1955. Marcia worked for the U.S. Forest Service, before joining the U.S. Postal Service, she retired in 2003. Marcia enjoyed being outdoors and tending to her many flowers and plants. She enjoyed swimming and getting together with her family and friends and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Marcia is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Darland of Minnewaukan, ND, four sons; Lance (Joan) Darland of Sioux Falls, Guy Darland of Spearfish, Eric Darland of Harrison, NE and Gary (Wendi) Darland of Lead, six grandchildren; Angela, Brie anne, Julia, Jared, Molli and Dierdre and two great-grandchildren, Liam and Joplin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Lisa and her sister, Sharon Aspen.
